We review guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and provide staff with updates as they become available.
Wash hands often with soap and water frequently, for at least 20 seconds. Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Stay home if they feel sick. Cover their cough or sneeze with a tissue, and dispose of tissue in the trash. Clean and disinfect all touched surfaces and objects frequently. Avoid large crowds, especially in poorly ventilated spaces. Your risk of exposure to respiratory viruses like COVID-19, influenza, and RSV may increase in crowded, closed-in settings with little air circulation if there are people in the crowd who are sick. Routine environmental cleaning: All staff have been instructed to clean frequently touched surfaces daily and commonly used surfaces before each use. This includes areas such as workstations, counter-tops and doorknobs. We are minimizing employee risk: Any employee who appears to be ill will be sent home immediately. We require that any employee who has an ill family member at home be tested.
